A local family owned grocery chain was specifically targeted in local TV adds by Wal-Mart.

The end result, a nice clean friendly place with slightly higher prices, now has advertising all over its store, and lower prices.

If I wanted the lower prices of Walmart, and a thirty minute check out line, I'd of been shopping there.

While they still have the best people working there, their is a frick ton more visual noise/advertising in their stores to pay for the lower prices. Annoying.

I won't get anything at my local wal-marts anymore.

Progressive Insurance - very shady, lots of people end up with at fault accidents on their bills when they were in a not at fault accident.

I also avoid products or companies that sponsor the wicked witch of NASCAR.
