I have this happen all the time in the DC area. I bought my car in January and have had at least 6 people offer to buy it. But it is also my daily driver so it gets seen quite a bit.

I even had a guy offer me 30k for my Targa after I told him no the first time. Unfortunately he had already pissed me off by repeatedly interrupting the phone call I had pulled over to take, so I blew him off on principle. Most likely he would have back-pedaled on the price anyway if he saw I was willing to sell.
