I too am in the DC area. My 997 always garnered attention in its macadamia metallic paint, and my 2012 991 gets stares, but my 1978 911sc targa in road rashed petrol blue gets the offers at gas station fill ups, parked on the street in bethesda and out in St. Michaels. the secret is out, the general car loving public knows what we have for along time.
