The newer the car the more the hit. On a 2000? I would expect 10-15%, even for an M. It's not a rare or unique car.
On a 1967 911S that has been well repaired? Almost no hit.
What will the long term hit be on the BMW? Nobody knows. Really depends on if the car ever becomes truly collectible. They don't all become interesting to collectors.
