Still loving NPS. Pool is clouding up this weekend so I took some water in for them to test. All good but our undisolved solids are through the roof. Looks like it will stay cloudy until we change the water. I backwashed the sand filter today so hopefully that helps too. Our palm tree is dumping tons of seed pods in the pool too. It should stop in the next few days.
Heard an idiotic statement from a pool guy this week. A client of mine is buying a house with a pool. Has two pumps, one for the filter, another for the pop up cleaning system. The pump for the cleaning system sounds like it is dying a serious death. We requested the seller to fix it and the response we got back is that sellers neighbor is a pool guy, and he says " you don't replace a pump just because its noisy. You just wait for it to die". My client is tired of arguing with them so he said eff it, I'll fix it after we move in. Wonder what pool guys clients would think about him just letting their pumps die, instead of replacing bearings and seals when they start making noise....
