Put a lid on how many cars per year one person can post on the "cars for sale section"

and / or

Have a seperate section for dealers listing cars.

Enforce the "price in the listing" rule on cars listed for sale, and if you post three or more in a year with no price you lose your privlidge to post others.

Enforce the "no daily or every couple days" bumping up of cars listed for sale. Make it once a week for 4 weeks thats all you get.

I would keep the post count. Many of the con artists get exposed when they show up as new posters and pose as an, "enthusiast" or "looking at a car at..." or "i had a great experience at xxx dealership I wanted to share". The post count helps you figure out these jobbers.

I have to say I am fairly active on the Ducati board and the Alfa board as well as Rennlist but I find this place to be the most active and the best. I wouldn't change much if anything. What I listed are mostly me just being a PITA because I cant stand the BS some dealers pull.


Oh yea... ban the word "perfect" or "flawless" on any car listed for sale, especially from a few of the dealers who use those words on real POS's. Might consider canning the phrase 100% original too, especially when the car is shown with later model wheels and cup holders tacked to the door cards.
