I did a bodge job of pounding back a little dent in the front fascia panel. That broke and split the paint, then I had to try to sand, prime, paint and clear coat a fix. Clearly I need practice. At some point, i will likely have that panel, the headlight covers and hood redone. Rock chips galore. The Guard's red paint match kit I got really works well, however. So, that's nice.
I followed all of the drainage lines and replaced several, including the fuel filler overflow, which would leak petrol into the car. Got new lines run and venting outside the car for all drainage channels.
Tested the tail light assemblies for weatherseal. Looks like it was done in recent years. Still tacky and spongy sealant. I had just bought a big roll just for that, too.
Received, sanded, primed and painted a new 944 rear end emblem. Mine had been stolen or not replaced after repainting the tail.
Received the Rennbay power steering pump reseal kit. Scared to begin.
Received my all new Bosch plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor. Looking forward to getting those on.
Ordered all new brake rotors and pads. I was advised that mine were too scored and uneven to function well, even though the brake pads have loads of life remaining. Might as well start fresh. Between sales at various vendors, I got some good prices.
