I dunno about that. Pandering usually means trying to be all things to all groups, and usually at the expense of consistency of message. WF has a pretty serious image problem in the ethics and customer service departments. I'd say ignoring that and trying some kind of niche marketing campaign, sort of in an effort to pretend they don't have an image problem, might be considered a type of pandering. But then I've never seen any of their commercials and there's nothing they could ever do to get me as a customer. So I don't bother following their
PR or advertising.
