the deed's been done. I went the low cost animal shelter route so I do not suspect they would leave the magic beans in the sack. this is my 3rd dog since I became self sufficient, all male labs and only have fixed the 2 most recent. my old chocolate McQueen I did it at like 2.5 y/o because I could not keep him in the yard while away at work. my 1st yellow stayed intact his entire life, and like noted above he was well looked over so he was never a father. bax nugget my current lab mix is not like the other two at all. he's very aggressive, will fight and very sketchy around people he is not familiar. I might have left him intact if not for the opportunity to mellow him some. it's suspected he has some chow in him somewhere down the line due to black freckles on his tongue... in fact he was a handful, even a minor biting of a vet tech as they tried to get him to surgery this AM. he's groggy, and pissed at me. but seems good otherwise.

to keep on topic, the topic of disgust, my vet buddy did McQueen's operation years ago and I have his nuts in a ball jar of formaldehyde to this day.. discuss...
