Since I know there are several Vizsla owners on the forum, I figured you'd all like to know.
I lost my baby to cancer very unexpectedly Monday evening. Over the course of about 10 days she started losing energy and refusing to eat. Cancer was the farthest thing from my mind and when we gave the ok for the exploratory surgery and I was certain I'd be bringing her back home. We got the call at about 6pm that it was cancer that had spread from her spleen to her liver and parts of her lungs. They did not want to wake her up from the general anesthesia so we went down and said our good byes to her on the operating room table.
She was only 6 years old.
