My wife loves the looks of these cars and we've found one for sale in great shape at a reasonable price. I realize they aren't Porsches and won't perform like one, but that's not what we're after.

My concerns are ease of maintenance/repair and parts availability. I'm a decent mechanic and nothing on the car scares me, but maybe I'm missing something.

Also, any thoughts on where values of these cars are going? I'm not looking to buy it and flip it, but I'd also like to not lose money if we decide in the future that one classic car (a 911 of course) is enough.
