Dual plugging a Harley allows you to reduce total timing by a tad, which makes more HP and torque, by a tad. Depending on what engine, cylinder head, combustion chamber design, sometimes it's a must, sometimes a waste. Generally speaking, all iron, EVO and early twin cam stock combustion chamber designs benefit from 2 plugs where the 2nd is located correctly.
