Not a big deal, I'm happy with the phone, didn't see spending $200-$300 for a new one with, or without a Verizon upgrade. $13.00 for the new battery and the special star shaped screwdriver. They said it was a 10 minute change over. Yeah, if you can actually see the two really, really tiny screws holding down the battery connection, they took me another 20 minutes to get them in. Anyway, got it done. The old battery was lasting 5-6 hours, the new one is on 6 hours and still has 89% of battery life.

Yeah, I know, I'm cheap, and don't have a real life. But I at least entertain myself cheaply.
