IMR- Merlin & Brian. In my build thread I said I wanted to build an old school turbo hot rod as someone back in 1977/78 would do. Hence the CIS, 15 inch rims, early brakes, etc. I thought about the Adj boost knob between the seats which would be period correct but would make any AFR issues/concerns worse as I cranked up the boost. My only nod to newer mods was the WMI in the name of safety (read $$$$). So I am sticking to my guns and not using any electronic controllers. I think it is cool running around in a CIS early turbo and surprising some of the newer high HP sports cars.
I might consider the boost knob if I could some how set it for lets say the .75 Bar and a twist/max stop at 1 BAR and not be able to go beyond that..... My AFRs are fine at those two boost settings, but I believe I would be getting close or into the 13 AFR range with anymore boost.
