Well like most jobs the completion of my man cave creeped up on me. To the point that the past two days I was installing reflective foil then ceiling insulation. Nothing makes you sweat like a pig quite like climbing in the rafters when it's 90 degrees out
I rented some 10 ' scaffolding which has made it much easier but I'm doing this alone. It took me two days to finish one half of the 24 x 26 garage ! Oh and when you sweat like a pig it's amazing how the 4 ' wide roll of reflective foils sticks to you like fly paper !
I got a quote just for labor of 1600.00 and I said no way I'll do it myself.........stubborn German
. But the money saved can go in the Porsche fund. I had the mini-split set to 75 and at ground level it was wonderful.........in the rafters not so much. I'll be glad when this part of the build is done.
