I occasionally check in to eBay and here for trends in car prices. 12 years ago, I bought a car off of this list. A 1969 911T. It had no motor, but was 99.9% rust free. Just a tiny bit near the battery box. I paid $4200 for it and now it's restored. Today, I was checking eBay on prices and came across this auction..

At the time of this posting, there were 18 bids nearing $8000! Correct me if I am wrong, but this car is far, far beyond restoration? The wheels are worth money, but the rest is completely destroyed, right? Can a car get any worse without simply turning to dust?
