i would be reluctant that that is what is keeping it from running. the reason i say that is the only things under there that will keep it from running is if the FV is not working or the FP's are not running. all the ignition control is in the engine bay.
with that said, the speed relay controls the fuel pumps and that can fail, usually bad solder joints. the other thing is if the computer that controls the FV is not working and the FV is not running that will lean the mixture to the point of no starting.
the other thing is the oxy sensor relay is not providing power to the FV. either the relay or a fuse.
first thing i would do if it does not start is check for spark.
next thing is pull the connector off the top back of the AFM so the FP's will run with the key on.
make sure both run.
not sure about the 930 but i think the FV should vibrate with the key on.
i have all 3 of those boxes from my 86 car. i dont know why i am saving them because i will never go back to them. i have been thru the speed relay and resoldered the joint and i have looked over the computer for bad joints.
