I'm a Field Engineer and work on Diagnostic Imaging equipment. One of my first calls to a local hospital involved an ER Chest X-ray system. I had to wait for system availability and watched a child just like this one be X-rayed...but he wasn't nearly as calm. The kid was frantic, and screaming over and over. To see them immobilized and trying to move was tough for me.
I quickly remembered why I chose my job and focused on the task at hand.
Certainly tougher on the kid than me.
Soon after the images, the kid was sleeping.
Not too dissimilar from this.
