The salmon was fresh, from whole foods ($19/lb!), looked great, no odor at all.

But that doesn't mean it wasn't cross contaminated, maybe the guys handled poultry then the salmon.

The kimchee seemed normal, no outgas, but I've not had prior experience with the stuff.

Sarah (the young lady who lives with us) had the same meal, but she poached her salmon, and wasnt ill. So that points at the salmon.

Depressing, I've always prided myself on having a cast iron Chinese gut. In Baja or Indonesia, I'd eat street ceviche or nasi goreng with flies buzzing around it. Guess I'm getting old and weak. Time to live on Enfamil.
