Dude helping us was part time help and was pushing us to an AR in .22 long rifle instead of the 10/22. I know the M&P 15/22 is a pretty hot little spoon at the moment but a lot more $$ up front.
Finally getting to find some spoon food. .22 match for $0.06 per round in a box of 350. Grabbed some but they may go to my brother in law since he can only get 1 box per day per customer in either 100 or 50 round boxes. 20 round boxes in long spoon food. Yes, that is 1 box of anything per day.
Em did like the new style way to grip the forestock on them in the AR platform. Doesn't work on her 30-30.

Not fond of the factory 22 'AR's.....they're plastic and flimsy. A 10/22 is a far better choice.
The 22 conversions aren't as flimsy, but they can be a pain to get cycling.
