I need some help from the Apple guys out there.
I have an old iPod Touch 2 8GB that my wife uses to listen to Pandora in the various parts of the house while sewing. Lately it quit working for some reason. I’ve never gotten into the operation of the iPod since she took it over very soon after I got it. It’s running Version 4.2.1, which is as high as an iPod 2 can go from what I’ve read. My daughter was trying to help her mom out the other day but to no avail. So here I am asking for help.
If I go into the Settings>General>Reset file, if I hit the Reset All Settings, what will that wipe out? Everything?
I also see an Erase All Content and Settings option, will that wipe all of the apps and operating system out?
I’m not sure what I need to wipe out and if it’s like ‘formatting’ the hard drive on a computer if I wipe everything out.
As it is right now, Safari won’t connect to the internet even though it says the wifi is connected to my router.
I touch the Pandora app button and it does nothing but make the screen blink once and go back to the normal home page, I guess that's what you’d call it.
Any ideas on how I can get this thing going again would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
