I don't think you would need two. The power-train is all gm; 6.5l non turbo diesel "the generation before the Duramax", a very simple TH400, and various parts robbed from GM's parts bin. It's almost like working on a 924...

A lot of the parts are surplus'ed as well, so it's ridiculously cheap to find OEM. They're actually pretty cool to work on, and the engineering is neat to look at it.
