too general. for everyone you describe, i can find a silent loner with the same self esteem issues.
i think they are just letting down their hair, having fun with vacation. i go with the obvious answer first before diving deep into the mind..
there is no one louder than my MIL. that lady has a good time, and perfect self esteem. i just need to calibrate my own issues to adjust. sometimes, i know it's "me" with the problem.
Widebody just needs to find his own happy place.
