Well, an interesting first ride on a Duc.

1) I think the front brakes needed bleeding! They seemd slightly spongy.
2) Just because the bike has only 8k on it doesn't mean it'll LOOK like it has only 8k on it.
3) Duc owners must like to put aftermarket parts on their bikes almost as much as HD owners.
4) Very light bike--quite "flickable".
5) Could stand more power (despite a jet kit and CF cans)--my old Kawi Concours had lots more oomph.
6) My wrists are still sore--gonna have to do something about the bar position if I'm to buy one of these things. Not so much the height or reach, but the angle. They make my arms look "knock-kneed", which is bad.

Next up for a test ride is a new BMW R1100S. Then I'm gonna hunt down a Triumph Sprint or Daytona (w/ the 955 engine).
