My son heard this litany a few times (rather heated on my end) in his jr and sr years at HS. When he was thinking that playing computer games was more important than doing his homework, I reminded him of our math lessons on what a barista at Starbucks makes per hour compared to cost of living in Santa Monica.
Now that he's going to college to make games...so games will be his homework...well, I got nothing.
