If the cars are stock the C6's are in the 400s for hp and the C7's are in the 600's. There are a lot of drivers aids in them. A local track guy has a C7 and the instructors have been complaining that the car actually makes them sick. I think the intrusion of the electronics creates unnatural motions that they aren't used to. Performance wise the 928 isn't even in the same ball park. I think the interiors in the Vettes still aren't world class like the rest of the car. I'll take a 928 interior any day. If you think it's scary now, wait until it rains, they are almost useless
