Real manual trans is no better.

Vette is dime-a-dozen but also bullet proof with an endless aftermarket. I also see the C6s are dirt cheap now that the C7 is out. Mainly torn between the C5 which I think is much nicer looking than the C6 but the C6 has more power and technology.

Glad you enjoyed your test ride and good thing the battery didn't fail while you were in it!

If only GM would have put in large secondary release levers with door symbols on them or big noticeable levers to pop off the removable roof!
This particular C6 Vette said 650 on the console and in a few other places. It is brand new, only had 2,500 miles on it. I believe it was super charged. According to the guy who owned it, only 500 C7's will be made and there is quite a waiting list. Vette's are a dime a dozen for sure, many produced but probably the biggest bang for your buck compared to Ferrari, Porsche and others. As Jay Leno said, one tenth the cost for the same performance of a European car.

The interior was really nice, well made leather, looked high quality to me. It just felt a bit tight inside for me. I was really impressed with the car on the whole, massive tires, brakes, etc. It's performance was phenomenal, a set you back in the seat ball buster of acceleration. I would say wicked, bad ass, not to be messed with. The car was a convert, white in color, tan and red interior. Dash is all computer screen. A state of the art car for sure, but I still like my old 928 which is fast enough for me and comfortable. But would I like this Vette, of course.
