Very nice!
One question: Why do you choose to paint the fenders off the car? The business with the butyl tape/hood gaps, etc. seems easier to manage prior to final paint. I've painted the fender/tub 'jams' prior to fender installation and final paint. It seems like less hassle (and stress!).
On the butyl tape, the stuff I've used is quite sticky and would not permit much adjustment once in contact. I found that a skim coat of WD-40 provided a little time for the fender to slide a bit while finding the best fit. within a few minutes, there's no moving it. What is your process like?
