Yes, I have a feeling this is the way to go. It appears that the regulator gearbox is not available by itself, only as part of the entire regulator mechanism, which sells for over $1000 new (insane). I haven't researched it a ton, but I can see that the motor is clearly different, and appears to connect to the regulator with a longer drive cable. I'll start digging more down this path.
