According to what I read on tire rack and another site Bridgestone and Michelin allow repairs "as long as the tire hasn,t been driven deflated past the 50 or 100 mi they are designed for ,
They should then be removed from the rim and the inside examined for damage like balling up rubber shredding inside.
I personally don,t trust plugs inserted from the outside but suppose if they fail on a run flat you can still run them flat as before and expect the TPMS to tell you of air loss.
