I bought a set of Michelins from Costco about 6 months ago because they automatically came with a road hazard warranty, I believe from Michelin, I would see if that road warranty applies to your tires.

Were they really $400 per tire? Are they mini van racing tires? I would find a shop that would be willing to patch the tire, I am not a big fan of plugs.
