china is an authoritarian oligarchy with a capitalist economic system.
fascism would be closer to what we have in the USA, collusion of government and industry to control the economy. remember, that the founder of fascism, Mussolini himself corrected folks, that fascism should correctly be called corporatism. a practice the USA has been sliding towards for 30 years.
