30 years ago, I wanted to take flying lessons and maybe buy my own plane.
BUT, I know me - I'm a cheap bastard. I'm the guy that patches a motorcycle tire and runs it till the cord shows....I knew if I had a plane, I'd end up like my buddy's father.....
When his plane needed an new magneto, he didn't want to pay the price, so put in one from a tractor......Killed himself and 2 others when it quit sparking right after take-off......
Man up and pay up.......
