And my 4 lb. Plumb double bit axe...covered with grease.
I broke & then replaced that Hickory handle shortly after purchase (41 yrs. ago).
I've dulled & sharpened it many many times.
I kept them both when I sold my business...didn't feel like parting with them.
Haven't used them in 15 years...but I like seeing them around...hard to let go of good tools.
You got me thinking I ought to clean & dress those sheaths...made by NICHOLAS.
That GBA (NICHOLAS) sheath has belt slots on the other side...I guess if a fella wanted to carry it, eh?
Fetch some double grain cowhide & make yours. Have fun.
