Our C-206 is a 1965 model that the company bought in 1969. The pilot that picked it up new from Cessna worked here. We used one mechanic since 1975 that loved the old airplane. We just kept him on retainer and paid him every quarter. He decided to retire when he turned 70 and his arthritis got bad. We had to find a new mechanic. The new mechanic is like finding a great second wife after your first wife died. He was stunned at the log books we have. He said he and never seen log books that clear and complete before. We call it the work truck. It will never win a beauty contest but it is in top mechanical shape.
