I hear ya.
I once started taking automotive classes at a school on the fringes of town.
Down the block was a chinese joint. Only place around, and I love (american)chinese food. Cool.
The first day of class I sat down and waited to be served. Place was empty. I waited and waited 20-30min.
The waitress walked out rather than take my order. No white guys allowed I guess.
I left and never returned.
I took classes at the nearby school for the next year or two.
I thought about going back in, talking to the owner, and flashing a tall stack of twenties.
"Here is what your waiter cost you this year".
