Check your wiring first and then run a meter over the battery to make sure you have around 13.8 volts give or take a bit,this is best done with some load on the system,headlights on high beam and heater on full....you get the picture.
The ignitor 2 system for your car is the way to go,you just need to order for your engine size and year,be aware the shaft cam is a very tight fit so take your time fitting it on to the shaft.
Make sure your dizzy is clean inside and the advance plate moves easy,give it a good wash in brake cleaner to wash out 40yrs of crap,check to see if the vacuum advance works by sucking on the hose,if not sort that before fitting the new ignition,cheers.
