Scnell Gelb. What was the reason for the total rebuild? What supplier IMS bearing did you use? My inspirational rebuild in June 2013, used the heavily advertised L&N and I read the tiny paper in the bearing box that said "30 day guarantee" on the bearing. After spending around $800 for the "upgrade" THAT really made me feel it was a superior value. There's much savings to be realized if you add up the basic rebuild numbers even if you do it yourself. 14 hrs. R/R engine@$100 hr. $618+ gasket set, rod bolts $145, head bolts $240. Nearly $2500 right here. You can spend that on new water pump n belts n pulleys n a weekend in Puerto Vallarta.
