I trust these guys better than anyone else in the area to pull it apart make the required changes to the pistons for the rings to not use oil and put it back together. Don't know that I would even want the guy in Dallas that did my heads to do the oil relief repair. He is booked for 3 months out anyway. The only other shop I would trust is in California and he also takes a LONG time to do things.
I also host their web site and email.
There are other good shops in town for both 911 and 944. The dealer has a great 928 mechanic, but that would cost me more than double.
Over the past 3 years they have been having pains over transferring from Dad running the business to the son. They have gone thru some employee changes and have had a difficult time finding mechanics they can trust with a car. I really hated to see the guy that always worked on the 928s retire right after I got this one. I think he is just having problems prioritizing time to get both the big projects and the little stuff done.
Back when the old man was running the show I almost always got my car back the next day for almost anything. Since he stepped down things seem to take much longer.
