Do the Gates clamps have to be installed before attaching the hose to the pipes? I've got to many (at one time I counted all the connections, there were 27) hose connections now to go back and replace with the Gates, however I love the looks and I think they have a definite benefit with the gate clamps expand and contract with the hose.

I'll be axious to hear about your Weather Pack connectors... seems like you're on the cutting edge of all things.
