The missus loves period movies (especially mysteries) and the idea of the old romatic luxury train rides (think Orient Express, Mystery of the Blue Train, etc...).

Has anyone actually taken any train tours or even known someone that has?

Does anyone have any experience or info about them.

I saw an article on one called the Rocky Mountaineer the other day that has a chef that was trained in Michelin starred restaurants.

I'd like to surprise her with a vacation on one, maybe in the fall or next spring.
