Actually this is a separate question from your "value" question, but I've never seen it asked.
How good was the 993 tip? I bought a 2K Boxster as a daily driver, and the tip was a great tranny, but I have always wondered about the earlier version. Actually the tip was far better than the AMG dual clutch on my '14 CLA45.
