The enormous effort involved in keeping hundreds of (if not much more) workers in keeping it secret would be incredible. Forty years later somebody would have let the cat out of the bag by now. I believe I read that at it's peak, 500,000 people (all the contractors, etc) were employed by the Apollo program.
My favorite moon hoax clip, Bart Sibrel getting in Buzz Aldrin's grill about being a "liar, a coward and a thief" and getting belted upside the head. Never gets old.
