Met a rock star today..........a rock LEGEND
and he wasn't at all like I'd have imagined him to be.
I was at a body shop today having some PDR done on the DD. After the tech was done and gone I was just about to leave but the shop owner asked me stay for a couple minutes. He said he might have someone coming in shortly that I'd enjoy seeing. Not long after, a black suburban with heavily tinted windows pulls up and the passenger side back doors swings open. Out steps a tall very thin gentleman looked to be in his late 50's, long rock star hair, very nicely dressed. It took a minute to hit me but the moment he spoke it was unmistakable, Steven Tyler !!
I'm not the type who gets all excited about seeing celebrities, after all it's So Cal right? You can't swing a dead cat over your head without hitting an unemployed starving has been actor or somebody who thinks their somebody special. But I must admit I was very taken aback by this guy. Despite his wild image he was a very polite soft spoken person with a very charming smile ( don't tell my husband I said that). And very articulate. We talked for a little bit about cars. He admitted to not knowing everything about cars but is certainly knowledgeable about he ones he owns.
Meeting him was really something, enlightening at least.
I just might have to go out and buy some Aerosmith tickets after that.
