I almost missed the annual European Classic Car Meet and Show in Calgary this year. Thankfully, last eve, Peter called and asked if I was going.

I had forgotten about it and had no idea when it was. Thanks for letting me know, Peter.

Here's a few shots of the cars that resonated with me in some way. There was plenty of air cooled iron there (both P-car and VW and one of those three wheeled cars) and quite a lot of others that I didn't know about or just don't come to mind all that often.

I think there were also more air cooled 911s on the street beside the park than there were in the show. I guess that goes to show that you shouldn't overlook taking a walk through the parking lot at any event to see what interesting stuff might be lurking out there.
