The corridor between Baton Rouge and New Orleans is growing. Currently there are 285 chem plants and associated facilities in the area. Exxon Mobil in Baton Rouge, refinery and Chem Plant are looking for folks. LOTS of work in the Baton rouge area. Also check the Houston TX area's. About 12 years ago there was mass exodus of engineering headquarters from Louisiana that moved to Houston.
