I doubt you can do a one-way rental like that. I rented a bike in Vegas once for a day and it was not cheap, but it was an amazing ride through Valley of Fire. I took all back roads once from Moab to Cedar City and there were a few times I thought I was gonna end up walking for gas. One station I came across was unmanned, but the pumps were on and took credit cards. I did end up out of gas near Death Valley once, having gone 160 miles without seeing an open gas station. I walked into a trailer park and bought a 5 gallon jug for $40 and was happy to pay it.
