To be honest; with that goal you're going to need: EFI, twin plugged/ported heads, forged rotating assembly at the very least. You might give consideration to a 74.4 stroker crank from the 964 variant or a 996GT3 with appropriate rods. I would give consideration to billet cylinders if you want the motor to hold up reliably. You'll need to think about induction; the 3.2 carrera intake is likely needed and an appropriately sized intercooler to manage the heat. You'll need a good header setup and realistically a 67mm turbo. Fuel system you'll want EFI as I mentioned above with injectors sized appropriately. If you're talking race gas then you could run a 1000cc injector like a ID1000. If you're talking E85 or a race blend of E90 and MS109 (true race E85) then you're talking 2000cc injectors.

Either way you cut it I would expect to spend north of $25K to make that power. If you go for the parts I noted above I would expect north of $30K.

Enjoy! That's a big, but attainable, goal!

Well that's ok... all good thinks in live are expensive...

I gonna take my time, if it's two years that's not a problem. It has to be a strong engine that does hold up that power. one that fires up each time.better to do it right from the first time so I'm willing to spend more if needed. That's why I'll start talking about the engine internally or it will become to much for me. So it would be great to hear more about the crank and oil pump.
