I hadn't experienced this until a couple of weekends ago. Usually when I take out the Porsche - it is for a run, not a run and stop. But, there was a little car show at a local rock-a-billy bar, so I took Welpe, parked and went inside the bar to listen to the music... Some guy followed me in asked if it was for sale - I said 'sure, everything is for sale for the right price', he asked how much, I said 50k (not really interested in selling it right now)... that was the end of that conversation. I was asked again when I was getting ready to leave, standing by the car, different guy, same question, same answer, this time, he wanted to haggle, "12K?", told him I was firm on the 50K... I would think a car show would be the last place you would try to haggle down someone on the price of their car.
