One funny about a lawyer breaking the law, I had the assistant crown attorney (same as a DA), that had a bay window westy, that she couldn't get licensed without some exhaust work. A tow was going to run her $150.
She couldn't risk her job driving an no tag/uninsured car, but was willing to follow her new husband as he drove to my place.
Ontario law the owner can get a temporary tag, but a buyer can't, she told me that the law was stupid. Then she admitted that she has prosecuted people for the same thing.
